A winter secret I'd like to share...

Lush rave....
Are you lazy in the moisturising/exfoliating department like me in winter? (and summer too)
I have found a cure, for lazy people, and it's wonderful.

BUFFY -
(The Backside Slayer)

This Buffy fights dead skin.
And Cellulite.
Wash yourself in the shower.
Step out of the water.
Scrub your entire body with this.
Wash off the bits of rice, almonds, and Adzuki beans....
and you're done.
Moisturised and buffed with lovely Cocoa and Shea butters.

I love it. My Favorite lush product by far.
The first thing I ever bought at Lush and the best.
Smells Gorgeous and it's not greasy at all.
Yummo!

Love it so much I bought it for my Mum!

However...
If a really deep exfoliation is not what you're after....
They have something else just as Yummy.

MASSAGE BARS
'STRAWBERRY FEELS FOREVER'

Rub this allover your skin right after the shower. Done. Good Huh? The bar melts on contact with body heat.

I'm not mad about this particular bar, the Strawberries and Cream scent is a bit too sickly sweet for me. (It's made from real crushed strawberries)...but I'm loving the no-mess-grease-free-moisturisation!
Many different bars to choose from for in the shower and out.

Had to share. I have found love with Lush. I have to stop. Really.

4 months already....

This post is purely dedicated to my Dad, Harv.

He's already been gone 4 months and it feels like only yesterday we were saying goodbye.

Love you Pa.
I Miss your voicemails.

Bourke Street Bakery. Sydney

A few months back we were in Sydney and got to visit the Bourke Street Bakery in Surrey Hills.
Seriously. Look at their Website.

It was stinking hot that day so the pigeon decided to have a dip in the dog bowl. :)

Unfortunatley I had a terrible headache and swollen throat that day.... so I couldn't appreciate the true beauty of their food. Oh God am I hungry. Can you tell? I should have taken more photos!
I had the Lamb Sausage roll. No ordinary Sausage roll. It had beautiful cranberries and pine nuts in it too. Yum Yum.
And Beautifil Home made Lemonade. Ohhhhhh.
Considering another trip to Sydney just to go back and eat more Tarts.
A must if you're in Sydney.  I wish they'd open in Melbourne!

Their book is on my to buy list:

It's all about the baking for me this week...

Diet time. No more Tim Tams or pigging out!
So naturally today I'm dreaming of food I can't eat....

Loving everything to do with cake decorating at the moment! Ever since I saw a special on the Royal Wedding cake I have been really into it. Amazing.

Wish I was the smart woman who came up with this idea:

MMMMMMMMMMM. Cupcakes are just so pretty.

The Bedroom....

So over the last year and a half we've been renovating! Scored myself a huge room with a kitchen and new bathroom.
Been playing around.. Never happy of course and probably change things around every week, but things are slowly starting to come together:
Bought Bucky the stag from my cousins Gorgeous shop, Douglas & Hope.
I love him! My boyfriend thinks he's weird.

Did an Ikea run with my gorgeous friend Jen on Tuesday and bought some frames.
Mangana in Olinda have these beautiful Vogue Cover prints from the 40's.
$10 each.
Bargain! Happy Girl

Ok Housework time.

LUSH HANDMADE COSMETICS

http://www.lush.com.au/

Ok. So this is definatley my new Obsession, an expensive addiction.

LUSH HANDMADE COSMETICS!
I stumbled upon their products whilst getting addicted to haul videos on YouTube.
Lush has been around for years and I haven't noticed them until now. So far a month and about 4 visits :) Evil stuff! The girls in the shops are gorgeous and helpful without pushing you into spending. I could spend hours in there!
Lush make their products from fresh organic fruits, vegetables and essential oils.
Ingredients are bought only from companies that don't test on animals.

Above:  Jungle Solid Hair Conditioner
Above: Summer Pudding Soap. Amazing. Smells like Cherries.
And ever so pretty!

"We believe in happy people making happy soap, putting our faces on our products and making our mums proud.

We believe in long candlelit baths, sharing showers, massage, filling the world with perfume and in the right to make mistakes, lose everything and start again."

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY DOWN TO THEIR BIODEGRADABLE PAPER BAGS YOU CAN PUT IN THE GARDEN.

They have an awesome YouTube channel and a few Facebook pages.
You can watch videos on different products, where and how they're made. I especially love the videos on their buying expeditions overseas!

ADDICTIVE! ENJOY! A x

Tuesday 10 May 2011

Ok here we go.

Well. Hello. Nobody.

Upon returning home from a Pocky pick up....yes I bought ten packets....beyond obsessed! Yum.

I don't know what makes me think I can pig out on boxes of strawberry Pocky while trying to loose the jiggle on my thighs. But anyway....

2011 has not started well let's just say that. The death of my Dad on January 15th has sent this year into spirals of termoil for my family and I.
It has also set off regular episodes of pigging out on things like whole-packets-of-Tim-Tams.

Oh well, you must do what you have to do. So this is my first entry. I love Pocky and I bought ten packets!

Welcome to my blog. No idea how this will go.
